Objective

The objective of the Akeyulerre Site Redevelopment at Lots 194 and 195 – 3 and 5 Stuart Terrace was to achieve a comprehensive upgrade of the site with a focus on steel construction, seating,

and fencing.

The project also included the design and approval of seats and a nest cubby. The desired outcome was a well-constructed, functional, and aesthetically pleasing site that meets all specified requirements.

Challenges

The Akeyulerre Site Redevelopment at Lots 194 & 195 – 3 & 5 Stuart Terrace faced several challenges, to address the specific requirements for steel construction, seating, and fencing.

The project had to consider the technical limitations of installing various types of fencing and structural steel as per detailed architectural and engineering drawings. Additionally, there was a rigorous client approval process for project needed to ensure that all design elements.

Execution

The execution of the Akeyulerre Site Redevelopment was a well-coordinated effort involving several creative, logistical, and technical elements. BluedustNT confirmed all general requirements for steel construction, seating, and fencing.

We supplied and installed approximately 63 metres of colorbond corrugated horizontal fencing and various lengths of spear bottom fencing, including gates and an automatic sliding gate. The project also involved the installation of FE01 and FE03 fencing as per architectural drawings, and structural steel for buildings and verandahs.

Creative elements included the design and approval of seats and a nest cubby, ensuring they met the client’s specifications. Logistically, the project required careful planning to ensure timely delivery and installation of materials, adherence to detailed architectural and engineering drawings, and coordination with various stakeholders. Technically, the project involved the installation of laser-cut sheets, concrete footings for fences and decks, and the fabrication, forming, and shaping of all structural steel components. BluedustNT’s meticulous approach ensured that all elements were executed with precision, meeting the client’s goals and desired outcomes.
